Pinterest Review -- Listerine Foot Bath

We've been at Camp since the beginning of June, my feet show it.  Last night as I was cleaning the bathroom while Tillie and Teddy were taking a bath I noticed a long forgotten, expired and generic-branded bottle of Listerine.

I decided last night was the perfect time to try a pin I'd seen a few months ago.  It called for 1/4c of Listerine(the blue kind is their favorite), 1/4c vinegar and 1/2c warm water.  Mix it together and soak your feet for 10 minutes.  The pin claimed that the dead skin would basically "fall off" when you were finished.

After 10 minutes of soaking pulled my now blue feet out of the washtub.  Hmm, I may recommend trying this with original instead the blue Cool Mint.  My feet were possibly a little smoother, but since they were blue I gave them a good washing in the tub, then used a foot file on the soles of my feet.  Now, I've been using the foot file every break this summer.  It helped, but my feet were still horrid.  Last night after the foot bath my feet were pretty good.  Like so good that I'm not going to be super-embarrassed by the condition of my feet when I get a pedicure next week.

Verdict:  It works!

When I tried it, I think my feet were too far gone. It didn't help much. But my heels are scary bad. And I was far too pregnant to bend over and file them. Maybe I should try again!

My feet were BAD. It's been a year since I've had a pedicure. Did you file them afterward? Try again with that.

I just reread your comment about the file. Whoops. Yes! Try again!
