I don't think I mentioned it in my "Year in Review", but our Frederik Meijer Gardens Memberships is definitely one of the best things we[Tim] bought last year. My membership is such that I can take a guest with me, and I'm happy to do so, but I really love it when it's just Tillie and me.
We wander through the garden at her pace, stopping at what she is in love with on that particular day. Today she loved running, and rolling, around the seasonal bulb garden.
It's really a good thing she wore jeans today.
When I saw how sunny it was going to be today, I knew we needed to go to the Gardens. It's good for the soul to see that much sunshine, greens, butterflies and warmth in the middle of winter.
The butterfly exhibit doesn't start until March 1, but the butterflies start slowly filling the conservatory a couple weeks before then.

I wish we had something like this nearby. We visited some gorgeous botanical gardens on vacation last year and Margaret loved it. Living in the desert, we just don't get enough of things like this.
