Cold = Cozy Clothes

I can't bring myself to turn the heat on yet, so I layered Tillie up in this cozy fleece outfit.  It's cute and snugly, but I have a question.

Flowers, polka dots, cupcake.  I can see it.

But why does the hood have ears?
