Awesome Birthday

Yesterday was my mom's birthday.  She turned 50.  My dad decided we should so something fun and surprise her.  So, at 2:30 yesterday they arrived at Philip and Matt's to drop Kizie off while they went out for dinner.

At least, that's what my dad told her.  Instead, this was parked in the driveway.

We had a great time on the ride to Grand Haven.

Tillie didn't get any sparkling grape juice.

Since we already had to bring along the carseat, the stroller would be really inconvenient.  Luckily, the EveryWear carrier that Scandinavian Child sent me was perfect!  Tillie hung out on my back while watching the Kite Festival.

Tillie had a great view of these Goldens who were training to be Paws with a Cause dogs.
